Moshe Blackstein ,LNHA
After three years at the helm of our five-star-rated Bushwick Center, Moshe Blackstein comes to Beth Abraham Center. Moshe was selected to lead an illustrious team of healthcare professionals based on his unique blend of operational experience, administrative acumen, and warm demeanor with residents and families. Under Moshe’s leadership, our team at Beth Abraham Center affords extensive effort towards expanding various clinical capabilities and services. Along those lines, the American Heart Association recently designated Beth Abraham Center as a “Post-Acute Care Heart Failure Center” for demonstrating numerous cardiac achievements. Despite the accomplishments and accolades, the primary goal is to preserve our nurturing environment where all residents feel at home. At Beth Abraham Center, our staff understand the importance of meeting our residents’ needs and are truly delighted to welcome each resident into our family.
Kayanne Tayloe ,RN
Director of Nursing
“I love being here at Beth Abraham. I started at our sister facility, Williamsbridge Center, which was the very first member of the Centers Health Care family, and that made it a very special assignment. But I jumped at the chance to become part of the team at Beth Abe. The reputation for outstanding care at Beth Abe is second to none, and the staff is great. There’s nothing they won’t do for our residents. That’s what makes us a great team. Nursing here is what I imagined it would be when I was in school, working together to help people.”
And with that philosophy, Kayanne is taking one of the finest nursing teams in the city to even greater heights. We suppose that explains why everyone from staffers to residents to family members always brighten when the see Kayanne coming down the hall. You will too.
Jacqueline Turenne ,PT
Director of Therapy
Jacqueline oversees one of the largest, and finest, therapy facilities in the Bronx. A graduate of Ithaca College with a degree in Physical Therapy, Jacqueline is not only a therapist but a qualified MDS coordinator and healthcare compliance officer as well. That might explain why her department runs so smoothly. But it’s her passion for teaching, motivating and helping others that makes her such an outstanding team leader. “I love helping people be the best they can be. That goes for helping my staff be the best therapists as well as for helping our residents achieve the best possible outcomes in therapy. Every day we have the opportunity to build bridges between the hospitals we partner with and the communities we serve. When we start to work with a resident, we all have the same goal – to do whatever it takes to help the resident complete the journey from hospital care to full, at-home independence. At Beth Abraham, I get to do that every day, I get to work with a wonderful team of professionals, and we just seem to get the very best residents here.” With an attitude, it’s no wonder Jacqueline is so popular with staff, residents and family members alike.
